More of my whining!

K, so in the world of video games. Why is there such an insane dichotomy? There are the Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead, Halo pricks who equal the total brain power of a squid with herpes! It's all about the shooty shooty shooty, and nothing deeper! It's all about reaction time and nothing else. So fuck them.

But on the other hand, the white tower assholes who ONLY play "smart" games suck too! I appreciate the idea of making an involving and captivating story, but holy shit people! Games turn into just micromanaging insanity at times!! Baldurs Gate, that space MMO and even the new Dragon Age Origins game. Spending 80 hours working on which merkin is best for the warrior/wizard/hooker hybrid is just BORING!!

While shooty games have the annoying trend of being so damn popular, nerdy games have a leg up in the realm of "MMORPGS". Those devil spawn have taken too many and only demand more. That is often why I prefer more "mindless" games. There is a level of relaxation and stimulation I can get without being bored by micromanagement. I like a good smart person game once in a while...but don't go to crazy with that.

SECOND! I am bored and lonely lately.

THIRD! I think I finally understand what making a comic is all about. Dedication. One of my favorite comic artists makes 5 comics a week! And it is high quality art, not just some copy/pasted pixels. Too make a living and get some satisfaction out of making a comic seems to require an INSANE amount of devotion, which I honestly can say I don't have. I like to draw, make comics and such. But to make something that people like, can become a part of seems like a lofty goal, at least.

I am discouraged, bored, alone and being rather Emo right now. Fuck you.
